"Decent zoo, but the bathrooms were a letdown"
The zoo itself was okay and we still had a decent time walking around, but the bathrooms were bad. They smelled awful and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in hours. I mentioned it to staff/support afterward and got a response that was basically, “we’ll pass this along to the team,” which is fine, but it didn’t really change the experience that day.

"Worth it if you actually go a lot"
The membership is decent if you’re going a few times a year. Not bad overall. But parking and the little extras still start to add up, which is kind of annoying. The zoo itself is really nice. I just wish the perks felt a little better for what you’re paying.

"Friendly staff made the day even better"
We had a really nice day at zootampa. The animals were definitely the highlight, but the staff made the whole visit feel even better. Everyone we spoke with was friendly and patient, even when we had a few questions. One employee helped us find the manatee area and even told us the best time to check it out, which was really helpful. There were a couple small things like the usual crowds here and there, but nothing that took away from the experience. It felt easy, welcoming, and kid-friendly, and we’d definitely go back.

"Average Lunch, More Hassle Than I Wanted"
We grabbed lunch at ZooTampa, it was just okay. The chicken tenders were fine and the fries came out hot, so at least the kids ate without too much complaining. But nothing really stood out, and for the price, I expected a little more, even knowing it’s zoo food. Drinks were cold and the service was decent, but between paying that much and still having to do the whole tray-balancing, napkin-hunting, kid-wrangling routine, it felt like extra work for a average meal. Not terrible, just not something I’d be excited to do again next time.

"Fun Day at ZooTampa"
I’m a little biased because I love places where my kids can have fun and sneak in some learning, but ZooTampa was a great day out for us. The kids were really into the animals, and they actually picked up a lot about habitats without it feeling like a school lesson. The keeper talks were clear, interesting, and thankfully not too long. It was a nice balance of walking around, seeing cool animals, and learning just enough to keep everyone engaged.

"I stopped in hoping it would be a…"
I stopped in hoping it would be a quick visit but the staff took forever to help me. It got frustrating just standing around waiting and it kind of ruined the experience...

"Fun day, just a few waits"
I had a good time at zootampa. Most of the lines were fine, actually I was about to say they moved fast, but the food and a couple of the rides definitely took longer than I expected. The staff were really friendly though, and it didn’t mess up the day or anything. I’d just recommend getting there early if you’re like me and don’t love standing around too much.

"Pretty Good Overall Visit"
I went to ZooTampa recently, and from what I saw, most of the animals looked healthy and well cared for. There were keepers around, and a lot of the habitats seemed to have decent space. A few areas did feel a little on the small side, but based on my visit, it seems like they generally do a good job with animal welfare.

The exhibits were clean and the animals were easy to see, which made the visit enjoyable overall. I will say I’m always a little wary when it comes to customer service at places like this, so I wasn’t really expecting much help if we needed anything. Luckily, the setup was straightforward enough that we didn’t have to rely on them much...

"Decent Prices, But It Adds Up Fast"
I just went recently, so it’s still fresh in my mind. The prices individually seemed okay, but once I was paying for the whole family, the total got higher than I expected. Not bad overall, just something to keep in mind if you’re bringing everyone

"Easy Parking Right by the Entrance"
I found a parking spot really quickly, and it was right near the entrance. from how busy the place seemed, I assumed parking would be a hassle, but it ended up being super easy

"Fun Day Out with Great Keeper Talks"
We spent the day at ZooTampa and had a really nice time. The shows were enjoyable, and even though the animal presentations were on the shorter side, they were fun and kept the kids interested. You could tell the staff really knew their stuff, especially during the keeper talk, which ended up being my kids’ favorite part of the day. The only downside was that some of the show times were a little tricky to plan around, so we did miss one we wanted to see. Still, based on our visit, it was a solid experience and definitely worth going.

"A Really Nice Family Day at ZooTampa"
We took our two kids to zootampa and had such a nice day. It kind of reminded me of the zoo trips my parents used to take me on when I was little, so it felt extra special sharing that with my own kids. The park was clean, easy to get around, and there were plenty of places to sit when the kids needed a break. The animals looked well cared for, and every staff member we talked to was friendly. My youngest was especially obsessed with the splash area. It’s a super family-friendly spot, and we’d definitely go back.

"So many animals to check out"
I really liked the huge mix of animals here. Like, there were just so many different ones to see, and it kind of made the whole visit feel really fun and, you know, way more interesting than I expected.

"Fun day, just super packed"
Had a really fun time overall, but wow the lines were packed.. definitely spent a lot of the day waiting around. Still enjoyed it though, just wish it was a little less crowded

"Honestly, it just wore me out"
I went in hoping for a fun day, but there were barely any rides that felt worth doing. A lot of the attractions either seemed closed or just didn’t have much going on, and after walking around trying to find something interesting, I felt mentally drained. It was more frustrating than fun.

"Super easy to wander around"
We had a really easy time getting around the zoo. The layout just made sense, and the signs were actually helpful, which isn’t always the case at places like this. Even with the kids darting off every two minutes and someone dropping a pretzel near the flamingos, we never felt turned around or confused.

"Pretty easy to get around"
From what I saw, it was really easy to move around. The paths were smooth, the ramps weren’t a hassle, and the staff helped us quickly when we needed it. I didn’t explore every single area, so I can’t say for sure how it is everywhere, but my experience was good.

The paths were actually really clean, which was a nice surprise. The bathrooms, on the other hand, could definitely use some attention, but I guess at least they’re keeping the outside areas looking good
